Ok. So when merging onto a highway, look over your left shoulder and wait for an opening that will let you... Aaaah! Bbwwaap! Didn't you see that truck?! I did. My system scanned it, determined its velocity, distance... Calculated our 0 to 65 acceleration and predicted we could merge with 42 centimeters of clearance.

Welcome to the future world of the self-driving car. And hopefully self-cleaning and drying car seats.

Self driving cars don’t mix with North American drivers anymore than an North American driving in South America. And imagine a self driving car driving in South America!!!
Ottodesu almost 8 years ago
This is exactly the sort of thing that self-drive cars will do.Except with less than 42 centimetre clearances.

New cars have a non skid function. But if you’re trying to enter the highway in the snow, the computer, slows you down due to slipping on the snow. Too many computers!

And you wonder why people don’t trust robots to run their lives?! Beware, the blast of the semi’s horn! BBWAAP!

I thought the robot did OK. Just change the 42 cm distance to maybe 100 meters for now.

Seen the Google driver less cars on city streets but never on a highway. Not sure they’re ready for the that.

Driverless truck apparently, and a cab over at that!Very intimidating! Personally,I welcome the advent of driverless cars. The human mind vs a computer,it’s a no brainier.

The technology for driverless cars isn’t quite there yet, but it soon will be. Being better than humans at driving is a very low bar indeed.

What will be the road rage of the future? Robots flipping each other off before they fire their laser.

Well, 42 centimeters is 16.5 inches or almost a foot and a half of clearance. Plenty!

Funny. EB3 is like a Motie cab driver.
