I wouldn’t quite agree. A fortune cookie usually means you just had a nice dinner, possible out with friends or family. Hopefully having a good time. I wouldn’t take advice from a fortune cookie of course, but at least that brings to mind the above benefits, rather than a horoscope, which makes me think of sitting around in one’s jammies, home and alone, asking your twenty cats why no one loves you.
