The GOP made that jail all themselves.

But the GOP establishment haven’t learned a thing. They are pivoting to Trump because, “anyone would be better than Hillary.” Appears they think it is still the 1950’s and they will do so until they are irrelevant.

When you look at Trump supporters and their views, they aren’t that far out of the mainstream of the GOP. They focus less on “moral” issues, and more on identity politics (see 538’s analysis on this), but otherwise they are in line with the GOP.-The real issue that led to Trump was the willingness of the mass-media right to rely on angry rhetoric as the sole motivator for action. As substance and dialogue faded away, it was replaced by an oversized voice that lived only to oppose and demean. That doesn’t represent conservative thought, but far too many public figures on the right were willing to benefit from such tactics because it brought in the money and votes. And when people tried to stop that trend (like when McCain corrected a supporter who called Obama a Muslim), they were torn apart.-When you make your platform about anger and opposition, you leave it vulnerable to being hijacked by anyone who can be louder and angrier than you. That’s how Trump won.

This is what is wrong with the right. They are never # For Anything They are always against. Anyone but ______ leaves you with candidates like Trump. Saying no to electing judges, saying no to health care, saying no to equality, saying no to immigrants, saying no to women, saying no to minorities. The Republicans do not have ideas, they only block ideas. Now they hold their own bars in a jail they themselves have build out of negativity and not being for anything. They are against it, but they have no more tools to fix it. So they are just against.

Bill the rapist vs. Trump the serial marryer (adulterer by the strict Christian ideology)?Trump who claims never to have declared bankruptcy, yet dismisses claims that his companies have gone bankrupt.Trump, who wants to erect a wall, have Mexico pay for it (by borrowing the money, then declaring bankruptcy?) but whose companies have hired illegal aliens as workers?Buyer Beware!

I was parroting his comment.Republicans can forgive everything, including Reagan’s eleventh commandment, as long as it’s a Republican running for office!
