You can vote for Trump. This guy, who voted for Bernie in the primary and donated money to his campaign, will vote for Hillary.

You’re right. That’s very different from Bernie’s supporters – including his wife, the felon – spreading lies about Hillary for free.

Please stop. I’ve grown to love these characters over the years and it really hurts to see them like this — telling people who do not think like you do that they’re stupid. I read Go to Hell – I thought you felt differently about bullying.

If the choice comes down to Clinton or Trump I’d be inclined to vote sleeping pills and alcohol if my religion didn’t frown upon suicide.

Call me touchy if you want but this strip no longer interests me. Do some fact checking, Pab.

…I dunno, I’d rather pay people – you get what you pay for…but fanatical followers who become disillusioned are downright scary…

To all the Bernie supporters saying they won’t vote for Hillary — even saying they will vote for Trump: Who do you want nominating the justices for the two Supreme Court seats that will become vacant during the next President’s first term (not counting the seat that is vacant already), Hillary or Trump?

Yeah, there’s a reason McEldowney had them disable comments on his strip. Y’all get too involved in this stuff. It’s a comic for gosh sake. Once in awhile the author is going to say something you don’t like. Grow up and go with it. There are always going to be differences of opinion. The quality here has always been respectable. It’s a clever comic. I enjoy your comments, when they don’t get personal. I enjoy the give and take, the rational discourse. The differences of opinion. Let’s keep it civil.

Does this mean Pab is going to start paying people to read his strip?

What Mr Sungenis may not know: Sanders’ campaign had already been doing the same thing, reportedly having paid $16 million to a company called “Revolution Messaging” for 1 million hours of labor for “professional trolling on Twitter, Facebook and so on.” (The Sanders campaign does not deny the expenditure, but says that it was for “online ads, email fundraising, web development, graphic design, photography and videography” as opposed to paying people for Twitter and Facebook messaging. If true, $16 million is an awful lot of ads, graphic design, and web development.) Note that $16M >> $1M.

No matter who eventually becomes the next president, it is still a politician.

The response to this arc has proven Pab wrong. Voters may not be passionate about Hillary, but they are passionate about keeping Trump/Cruz out.

As the token conservative who reads this comic, I’m finding it entertaining. C’mon, I’ve been called a racist, a degenerate and an unschooled idiot, even by family members. If you aren’t able to laugh that kind of stuff off and know who you really are, then you don’t last too long as a reactionary in an overwhelmingly blue state.

I’m pretty sure the next 4 years are going to be really interesting in the way of the Chinese saying.

Psh. I’ve been called a Nazi tons of time. Mostly by people over the net, since it would be pretty hard for an foppish dandy of mixed descent to roll with the Aryan Nations crew in real life.

Whatever. When your opponents start believing their own straw-men and acting accordingly, that’s good for your team, you know?

It may be a comic but it is a sore spot. There has been a smear campaign against Clinton since she was a First Lady. And the fact is, freedom of speech means Sungenis is free to say Hillary is crooked but people are also free to answer back that he’s an arse for repeating unsubstantiated rumor. And yes, it unsubstantiated. Even Bernie’s people have discredited the blogger who claimed to have been paid by the Clinton campaign to smear Sanders because the blogger refused to provide any substantiating evidence.

I’ll be glad when the election is over – at least, I hope I will be. It will be awful if we get Trump.
