The tops of those cabinets are a perfect place for decorative pitchers, platters and ewers. Add a little (fake) greenery in between and it can be very attractive.
When my husband built me new kitchen cabinets, we took them all the way to the ceiling…no wasted space on top! I love them. (It helps that we are both tall!)

That I can believe. My mum used to find dog hair in the dining room chandelier. They had an English sheep dog – resembled Nana from “Peter Pan”.

My husband complains about all the cat hair but not about the dog hair. Except when washing their blankets… He’s the dog person, I am the cat’s.

I had dogs and cats, didn’t like the shedding so when those pets were gone I got pets with much more controlled shedding; spiders and snakes.
