Jimmy always was one step out of formation.

Like Jimmy, who when he meets you either mumbles or yells “Get off my damn lawn”.

I think we can all empathize with Jimmy a bit.

Now it’s a missing man formation.

Jimmy marches to the beat of a different drummer.

This might help explain why Jimmy looks so blobby and unformed.

Though I must say… he does try to keep himself informed…He reads the online version of the Ballard Times…

So he rides the information superhighway, but he won’t walk in formation….Though he appears to wear the uniform… he remains a bit out of form.

OK…. that’s about as fully formed as this comment is gonna get.

Shika… and Bev…. I posted something to you both Sunday afternoon, when we were still in Saturday’s forum.

Jimmy takes a shortcut to the bus stop……gets him a seat every now and then.

Dropping out of formation leaves you as Tail-end Charlie, the Sitting Duck with no protective cover from those Fokkers in Messerschmitts.

Good for Jimmy. He has realized the futility of lockstep conformity and lemming leaning behavior. He’s sidestepped the suicidal, soulless social pressures, stuck a single digit of dissent in the face of the Orwellian overlords.

His simple act of rebellion, his breakaway from the heartless herd, should be heralded ! No more Mindless Mondays for Jimmy !

He’s headed for freedom and fun. Life’s a beach and he’s headed to the Tiki bar to celebrate his new found Changes is Latitudes,Changes in Attitudes,, his liberation, with a libation !

JImmy’s going to have one of Fenton’s Margaritaville martinis, along with a Cheeseburger in Paradise He knows it’s Five O’Clock Somewhere

Why he might even take a Sea Cruise with a Brown Eyed Girl ( since he is a Son of a Son of a Sailor )

Meanwhile he’ll stay in This One Particular Harbor that’s Under the Volcano listening to Uncle John’s Band on this Sunny Afternoon and plan A Trip Around The Son , leaving the Gypsies in the Palace and shouting to the world " Why Don’t We Get Drunk? "

Jimmy’s discovered his true Parrothead !!

He is probably heading over to Jerry Van Amerongen’s place. Mr. Van Amerongen left the formation many years ago. Thank goodness for that departure.

So much truth it causes aches and pains… but with a hearty grin :)

Sunday’s Cleo would have him back in formation.

Jimmy’s inertial navigation set os off. He’s going to have to start flying VFR.

May Day in Seattle yesterday was kind of funny. After the peaceful workers and immigrant rights march. the usual “anarchists” gathered downtown. With a sign saying they are “ungovernable”, they got marched around in the heat until they were way south of downtown, directed all the way by the cops forcing their path. They were finally allowed to try to figure out their way home (probably Uber) and there was no late night vandalism as in previous years.
