Yup, I know the feeling, having to go to work when I could be riding my horse.

… And right after a dreary rain filled weekend.

I took a client to the beach yesterday and we had to come home early because it was too hot.

I kinda understand Phoebe here. The perfect weather is not too sunny, but not rainy either. Give me a cloudy day any day.

I’m there with you, Phoebe. Snow/rain all weekend, and then the sun comes out on a lousy Monday. :-(

Considering how things have been for me the last few weeks, I’d be happy to get out in any weather. About 2 months ago I missed a step and slammed my knee into the floor. When I got up the next morning I couldn’t put any weight on my left leg and ended up in the hospital with a subacute fracture of my tibia and some damage to my knee. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and the nursing home for 6 but I’m finally going home next week. I’ve had plenty of time to knit over the last few weeks and my Morse code scarfs have been very popular with the staff. A friend loaned me his tablet so I was finally able to catch up on my comics and start posting comments again, but I’m really looking forward to going home next week.

As a native Californian I symphathize with this strip way more then I probably should.
