It’s early stuff – give it a little time…
The happened with Calvin and Hobbes as well. Along with most other comics. Garfield changed. Pearls Before Swine changed, along with Pickles.
Check out the old original Lil Abner artwork. Like a fine wine, these comics have improved with age.
So good old Spartacus is okay, I presume…
All cartoonist tends to change, particularly from when they just start out. You can also look at Luann, Foxtrot, For Better or For Worse, etc….
One question… Was she wearing the slippers at the time?
