Our cats always licked off the gravy and left the shreds. The dog had no problem finishing off the leftovers – but he’d have had a difficult time eating the can, too.

Very bad to let the dog eat cat food. Cats require higher levels of protein than dogs. Also cat food has high levels of amino acid called ‘taurine’ that cats need in their diet. The combo of lots of fats, proteins and taurine can cause your dog to lose it’s teeth and gastro issues making them vomit a lot.

This definitely shows one of the differences between cats and dogs.

My last dog had no problem eating all of the cat]s food ! Poor cat almost starved until we discovered this and moved the cat food to a deep window sill !
