Those must be mighty thin towels. I asked my mom one time why our well worn towels weren’t thick and fluffy like the ones on tv. That’s when I found out about the whole lint thing.
My mother used our towels until they became “lacy.” That’s how threadbare they were! As a kid, I never even knew that towels were supposed to be thick and fluffy.
I guess most everyone knows towels (and all clothes for that matter) last longer if they are dried outside rather than in a dryer. Unfortunately in many neighborhoods, if you hang clothes outside if even permissible, the neighbors are asking if there is something wrong with your dryer…

Good towels can last a lifetime. Just keep them out of a dryer. Anybody remember textile products that were before NAFTA closed the US mills?
