I took up drawing when I was older than Sarah is now (written in 2024), about the time this comic was first published (in 2016).
I’ve had to accept that I’ll never actually get to be “good” at it, but I have gotten better. You can always improve with practice. Up to a point. Anyway, I can relate to this.
