Many years ago, my mother washed my sister’s new red coat in a load that included my brother’s jockstrap. He was NOT happy with the pink result since he had to wear it in PE class the next day.
We were on vacation in our new little travel trailer. A can of Hawaiian Punch (back when it was sold in big cans instead of bottles) tipped over in the refrigerator. All my husband’s underwear was in the drawer under the fridge. He went through the whole vacation with pink underwear and pink crew socks.
That’s a little harsh, don’t you think? Peter is only 16 — he’d have been a little young to be storming any beachheads, unless he had lied about his age in order to enlist. In other words, take your judgmental, holier-than-thou attitude and cram it.
