Do not feel to bad Bernie supporters. I do think Bernie is paving the way for a shift in the Democratic Party.

And yet somehow the Democrats bring down the debt (and more importantly the deficit) whenever they hold the White House, while the Republicans increase those. The opposite of what the Rs say is their plan!

The part the cartoonist left out is Hillary being carried up the hill on the shoulders of the party bosses.

That is only true if the super delegates remain committed to Clinton. They agreed to that when Sanders was 60 points behind her in the polls. Now, he has won 8 of the last 9 states. The super delegates are chosen to try to insure that the person who gets the nomination is the one most likely to win the Oval Office for the Democrats, and as a bonus the one who has the longest coat tails. At this point that candidate is Sanders, and if that is still true at the convention, they are going to go with Sanders, saying that to do otherwise would go against the will of the voters.

Senator Sanders’ powerful message resonates with a lot of Americans, particularly young people. Bernie is awesome and has a long shot to go all the way. But it is likely that Hillary will be the nominee. I’m thrilled to watch the GOP eat itself alive. I have no problem with Sanders wins and Clinton’s lead. Who ever gets the nomination will be supported by the Democrats unlike the Republican nominee. Both Clinton and Sanders would make a strange, fascinating, transformative president. While the alternatives are so toxic and repugnant as to be threatening to all human life as we know it. I mean, wtf isn’t it obvious?

So what happens if Bernie gets more Primary/Caucus Delegates than Hillary but Hillary wins with her Insider Super Delegates?

WTF are you going on about? The US party with the history of increasing budget deficits is the GOP.

Then you start raving about “communist takeovers” and “loss of rights and privileges” as if Senator Sanders (a social democrat) is to be painted a a Stalin or Mao.

Take off your tinfoil hat and check out reality.

That would be to long of a reply, but lets just take tax cuts...One of the things that the current Republican Congress touts as one of their few accomplishments..“By a vote of 318 to 109, the House on Thursday approved the tax-cut package, which will add more than a half-trillion dollars to the deficit, and supporters and critics alike said that the bill represented Mr. Ryan’s deeply held belief that tax cuts ultimately pay for themselves by fostering economic growth.”.http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/18/us/politics/house-approves-huge-package-of-tax-breaks.html?r=0.Tax cuts never pay for themselves..“The Republican Way: Cut Taxes, Expand Deficits.“But what is not hard to predict is the result: larger federal budget deficits. Most of the Republicans have no plans for cutting spending — just vague generalities. That’s no surprise: Most specific federal programs are quite popular, and after several years of budget cuts there aren’t a lot of easy places to trim. As with the tax system, the bias in favor of the status quo is strong. That’s why Republicans focus on fighting waste, fraud and abuse in government rather than on identifying exactly how they would change the fundamentals.”.“Seriously slashing the U.S. budget means taking on Medicare, Social Security or both — tricky for a party which draws support from older voters. Even if some significant changes to these programs were to pass and take effect, such as what Ted Cruz suggests for Social Security or what House Speaker Paul Ryan has proposed for Medicare, they mostly push spending cuts off to the future. .Remember, we have seen all this before. Big tax cuts combined with smaller reductions in government spending produced huge budget deficits at the beginning of Ronald Reagan’s presidency. And so did big tax cuts at the beginning of George W. Bush’s presidency. The odds are overwhelming that we will see this again under a new Republican president.”.http://www.bloombergview.com/articles/2015-11-11/republican-presidents-cut-taxes-and-expand-deficits.“In his version of the Republican myth that “tax cuts pay for themselves,” President Bush confidently proclaimed, “You cut taxes and the tax revenues increase.” As it turned out, not so much..This chart shows just how dire the tax revenue drought has become. For those Republicans who claim “tax cuts pay themselves,” it’s worth noting that federal revenue did not return to its pre-Bush tax cut level until 2006. (While this graph shows current dollars, the dynamic is unchanged measured in inflation-adjusted, constant 2005 dollars.).0cd20caacf.jpg" width="600">.As a share of American GDP, tax revenues peaked in 2000; that is, before the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. As the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities concluded, the Bush tax cuts accounted for half of the deficits during his tenure, and if made permanent, over the next decade would cost the U.S. Treasury more than Iraq, Afghanistan, the recession, TARP and the stimulus – combined. (See chart at top.).As the Washington Post summed up the CBO’s conclusions regarding the causes of the nation’s mounting debt earlier this year, “The biggest culprit, by far, has been an erosion of tax revenue triggered largely by two recessions and multiple rounds of tax cuts.”".http://crooksandliars.com/jon-perr/15-things-gop-doesnt-want-you-know-about-taxes-debt#five.I am conservative financially both politically and in life. I know you can not give yourself a tax cut and bring down the deficit. If Republicans were truly conservative they would bring down the deficit before giving themselves a tax cut. They are fiscally irresponsible. Democrats do not want to give tax cuts but increase taxes and talk about the services that we want. Bernie is talking about the services government he feels should do. If he were President would it all pass no, but we could have an honest debate. .All Republican candidates for President are proposing tax cuts again.

To put it simply, making cut to services and paying down the debt is the hard choice..Giving a tax cut to your supports especially the wealth supporter is the easy choice especially for politicians. .How you regulate your person spending is not the same a regulating government spending. Politicians can leave the government..I vote for making the hard choices.
