Peanuts Begins by Charles Schulz for May 27, 2016

I actually played at a piano recital last night. I played Minuet in G, and Phantom of the Opera.

Although it’ll probably never happen, I’d like to see the Peanuts kids as adults. Schroeder would most likely be a famous pianist. Don’t know about the others.

There was. “Pearls Before Swine” strip recently about an adult Charlie Brown

Notice the chivalry of the 50s, when young gentlemen still helped young ladies with their coats, and such.

I like the early Peanuts characters best.

Oh I get it! Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms start with “B” and Schubert, Schumann, and Schroeder start with “Sch”

Three cheers for music appreciation classes in school! (And other Things That Aren’t There Anymore…)

I remember that Mad parody fondly. It’s somewhere in my collection of Mads (which are probably buried under my collections of paperback comic strip collections…….)
