This is what you get when you let Chris Matthews pretend to be a journalist.

I am old enough to remember the abortion mills that existed when it was outlawed. It was about as successful as prohibition. Pro life is simply religious conservatives trying to impose their will on everybody else. They can do what they want with their own bodies but to pass laws to punish women who are already dealing with a very emotional and life changing event is pure evil. Apparently the “love thy neighbor” part of the bible doesn’t apply here.

Lots of things are murder.. the death penalty by definition.. useless wars.. inadequate health care.. poverty… the effect of the second amendment..Yet.. the Republican party is fine with all of those.. just controlling the bodies of women seem to get them excited.

So the mainstream pro-life position is that women who have abortions shouldn’t be punished, but doctors who perform the abortions should be punished. What if a woman manages to abort by her own efforts? Should she be punished?

There are right wing organizations that target abortionists for murder.Any real woman would be outraged by that.

Anti-abortion violence is specifically directed towards people who or places which provide abortion.1 It is known as “single issue terrorism”.2 Extreme forms are recognized as terrorism. Incidents include vandalism, arson, and bombings of abortion clinics, such as those committed by Eric Rudolph (1996–98), and murders or attempted murders of physicians and clinic staff, as committed by James Kopp (1998), Paul Jennings Hill (1994), Scott Roeder (2009), Michael F. Griffin (1993), and Peter James Knight (2001). Those who engage in or support such actions defend the use of force with claims of justifiable homicide or defense of others in the interest of protecting the life of the fetus.345

ice, of the University of Georgia, describes support for anti-abortion violence as a political weapon against women’s rights, one that is associated with tolerance for violence toward women.6

Anti-abortion extremism is recognized as a form of Christian terrorism.

What’s really funny is how the most privileged group in the country is also the angriest.

    Who’s angry? White, female Republicans

@Ted LindGuess you are ignoring the “Protect the innocent there also.” So I guess you believe it is okay to murder in order to not inconvenience the other. Talk about me as a conservative being evil.

The bible tells MEN not to spill their “seed”, so MEN insist WOMEN have to allow it to germinate, even if rape or incest, and also insist condoms are spilling their seed, so must also be banned. The bible should have demanded MEN get pregnant, and have to carry an anencephalic fetus to term, born dead, tearing their uterus apart in the process, leading to infection, and their death giving “birth” to a dead fetus with no brain tissue. Hmm, that fetus does seem a lot like those guys.
