What is the Republican establishment so afraid of?

It’s not as if there are any policy issues they disagree with Trump about. He has not even hinted that the Kochs or the Adelsons will be taxed more or even have their offshore moneys investigated.

Are they afraid he won’t be fiscally responsible? After the last Republican president?Yeah, right.

Well maybe one of those is a function of the national government.

The definition of limited government is easy, it is give me what I want and don’t spend any money on anything else.

    1. Build and support a large nation-wide infrastructure that enables me to develop a profitable business and become wealthy; 2. Protect those interests at home and abroad with a large military, and use that military to secure resources around the world; 3. Don’t tax me to pay for any of this stuff because I think I should get a free ride.

Make America Great Again! has no real meaning unless you put it in some sort of context which Trump will never do because its to intellectual.

Hey, Benson, don’t come crying to us. He’s your party’s presumptive nominee.

Lisa, Trump is a republican. Aren’t you obligated to endorse him?

Ultra-“conservatives” could really do with a little read of the first three articles of the Constitution about what the role of the government is, and of course the goals in the Preamble.

I don’t disagree with your assessment, but I can’t think of an example where Trump would do something against the interests of the Republican establishment.

Raising taxes on the wealthy? Eliminating corporate and individual tax loopholes?Reduce the amount of cheap immigrant labor, legal and illegal?Reduce military spending?Try to improve Obamacare?Carpet bomb ?Send in troops?

Maybe I haven’t thought of the right examples, but I think the only thing the Republican establishment is afraid of is that he’ll lose the election so badly, he’ll take the party down with him.

By shutting down the government as they have, it’s clear they don’t give a whit about the good of the country.

Far as Trump is concerned number 7 is number 1, but he won’t achieve any of them.

I’m not completely illiterate, just mostly illiterate. I am right handed though and I’m not a scarecrow if I get your meaning correctly. What’s an Amendment?
