I confess I had to look up what is meant with “Let’s spitball..”
It is fun seeing how the characters are made to fit into the artistic style of other comics. Any chance for a Richard Thompson?

I have to admit, the Doonesbury style is pretty awesome.
This reads more like a Dilbert strip with the pointy-hair boss instead of Rita. Or a day at my job. Why do business owners think people can manage/supervise if they have no idea of what the employees do or how they do it?
Previously explained. Rita was promoted because the CEO thought she had great gams.
