When did we as a people become afraid of the truth?
The cartoon states that terrorists’ outrages influence opinion.Of course this is true.We are engaged in a religious world war; a war against ideas. We will not win through violence. We can be bad but nowhere near what we have already seen from Islam. We can only fight this war with education. And we tie our hands with our own concepts of religious freedom.
After 14 years of the “war on terror,” we are no closer to achieving peace. The fault does not lie with any one administration but with the assumption that war can defeat terrorism. The lesson of the Islamic State is that war creates terrorism..Terrorism is just another form of revenge. Revenge can only be stopped by genocide.. time and rewriting history.
Christian violence, the Karadzic conviction, is just as vile as anything Muslims have done, though both sides totally suck, folks.
Frankly, Trump and Cruz are far scarier, and a bigger threat to America and our values, and Constitution, than anything ISIL can come up with. Ignore the petty picking on wives, it’s their professed intent, both of them, to abuse the Constitution and law, not just ethnic groups, that should scare ESPECIALLY those who claim to be “conservatives”.
“The terrorists know exactly what they’re doing” -oops, excuse me Mario. They know for every attack they launch, the rabid right will go crazy and try to crack down on innocent co-religionists, creating more potential terrorists. And the wingnuts fall right into their trap. Giving them the victory.
