when I was a young fellow and began hanging around with the beatniks and hippies, they said the thing is to do your own thing. So I went to college got an education, married, raised a family and retired.
The hippies and beatniks did not accept me because ‘doing my own thing’ really mean, being like them. I did not like the conformity of the non-conformists.
@ blank brain.That’s pretty much the same gig the people pull who drive around with those coexist stickers on their cars. It’s all cool till you disagree with their ideals and then you are the bad guy.
