Kent; I went to a french-language school in New-Brunswick. They taught us english from third grade on (and I think that’s about where english kids start learning french) and spanish was an option in high school.

The idea that anglophones are incapable of learning another language is just not true.
I am an Anglo American and I am fluent in all three languages mentioned here, plus a couple more.
