I do see this as different than other juicing – at least if she’s telling the truth. She was using the same medication over ten years while it was legal, and it’s only been banned for two months.

Sharapova has made $285 million in lifetime earnings on and off the court by the age of 28. Not bad for one who has had 10 years of “medical issues.” I wonder where you can get some of that stuff?

This is like drug companies pressuring the AMA to lower numbers on conditions like Type 2 Diabetes so they can sell more pills. They wanted her out and found she was on a medication and made it illegal to oust her, plain and simple.

Over the years of doping in athletics, the thing that amazed me was that these human athletes would take stuff from their trainers that a decent trainer wouldn’t give to his HORSES!

This case does seem odd that a substance only banned in January, and long taken, probably not just by this athlete, would get her banned.
