That’s my first reaction, that Wunbrow’s boss is corrupt. Only a guess at this point.

I’m thinking that a couple of detectives are going to vanish from their rooms. It looks as if Wunbrow is suspicious of his boss’ decision as well. Could the CofDs be in on the plot? If Detective Tracy is to get back to the States in time for the wedding he needs to figure out what is going on and who is behind it.

I expect that’s an Unimportant Detail™. We were told that Wunbrow knew the path and knew which way to go to avoid the rocks that were falling. More that that is not crucial to the plot.

Wunbrow’s boss was suspicious of Tracy for wearing an overcoat in Havana when it’s 90 degrees.

I’m a little surprised Tracy doesn’t speak at least some Spanish. I see he found his hat and raincoat, unless he bought new in Havana ;)

I would surprise me very little, if at all, to find DJ is pulling the strings with Wunbrow’s superior.

If S&S get “sent back” to the Apparatus, that means that Tracy being sent back as well will be a unintended favor to him!

Do they want Tracy to stay in his hotel room because that’s where Notta’s “muggs” are planning to bag him?

There must be a break in this case coming fast, or else the venture of the Three Amigos to “Kooba” was all for naught. Specs and Spicy may need saving; some covert operation may be necessary. Or does DJ win this round, much to Wunbrow’s dissatisfaction (or maybe not?)….
