I have here a book written in 1944; by Konrad Heiden, which perfectly describes the supporters, and rise to power of the Trump model, Adolf Hitler. Do NOT take this as a mere “attack” on “the Donald”, but find it, read it, and know, just who Trump is at his very core, and the psychosis of his “corps”.
Btw the title of the book is “Der Fuehrer”, and of course was written before the end of the war.

I don’t like his pride and ego and I think getting rich is not God’s goal for Christians in this life. I began long ago, telling callers for GOP donations that the GOP hierarchy was ruining the party by its rejection of conservatives. I remember when the RNC tried to prevent the nomination of Ronald Reagan. Before that it was Barry Goldwater (until his 180 turn into an immoral liberal).-Maybe it takes a political war and takeover to restore a political party back to eternal values that matter no matter the age or date. Rejection of the “Good” does not redeem “Evil.”
@OldCoal….I wasn’t intending to “redefine conservatism” at all.-I posted about my theory of “why Trump” and IMO the blame goes 99% to the “Kingmakers” in the GOP.-Abe Lincoln ‘s politics had something to do with the founding of the Republican Party, which supported freedom of slaves.The Democrats were mostly Southern, pro-slave, and were later than the GOP to join the Civil Rights movement. Senator Byrd was a high official of the KKK, and today’s Democrats ought not be so high and mighty when they are busy slinging the mud of “Racist” against Republicans.-My definition of “Conservative” is the same for the US Constitution as for my Bible. Conservatives stay loyal to the original writings. Conservatives recognize that full “democracy” is mob rule and reject that form of governing.-Our Founders gave us a representative Republican form of government, and Conservatives desire to keep it and oppose changing to something else, like Socialism, which in its fullest version puts the central collective government in charge of details of operating private owned businesses….and steal the freedoms our Constitution guaranteed, along with the Bill of Rights, of individuals controlling businesses and families and homes and churches that were made off-limits to government control in our Founding Documents.-A Conservative tries to preserve the best form of government and also tries to prevent the transforming of Freedom and Liberty of the individual into government-controlled serfdom.A Christian Conservative opposes the infringements of law after law that ends our freedoms….
