Trump COULD say he doesn’t welcome their support. But that would be moral and ethical, and that’s the opposite of the brand he’s built. As Will Saletan observed, the GOP wants the opposite of Obama. Obama has always been the adult in the room. The GOP is nominating a child.
I don’t like the Klan, but this could be something not in Trump’s control. Whether it is an organization, or a policy, or a belief, or where you were born, there is always going to be something somewhere that any of the candidates or present President is doing or did or affiliated with that everyone will not be happy with. I am getting sick of all the childish behavior on all parties. Stick to what you can do for this country and not childlike bickering trying to ’up’’ the other one.and this editorial doesn’t make me side one way or the other. just another person trying to belittle another.

The Republican party has been preying on people’s prejudices for a long time. Trump is receiving support from white supremacists. Trump is making social conservatives wary for his long record of supporting Democrats who favor abortion rights and gay marriage. So how does he keep winning and gaining supports among the GOP?I suppose you can just give the White House to Hillary Clinton who could nominate a Supreme Court justice that wouldn’t wear a hood.
In Trump’s defense (not that I am), he is absolutely not aware of anything that doesn’t have to do with him .Once they endorse him, they’re “beautiful”.
