The doctor may be more concerned with the “shape” of his patient before he worries about the rash.

But he has to satisfy the deductible first. So again he has to pay for their date.Maybe on the way home they can switch positions.

I dunno my monthly premiums are quite a bit more than a doctor visit, so long as I pay cash for a visit, and don’t see the doctor more than twice a month I actually save money. Assuming I don’t need prescriptions…cause that is where they get you.

ColoradoRonSounds like the lies about Tommy Douglas’ Canadian plan. Our doctor (the GP who papered his waiting room with his papers published in major medical journals) tried to give me a hard time regarding US medicine, but found I had more dirt on the AMA than he did. And Douglas? A few years back voted the greatest Canadian of all time.

Only in the U.S. All other developed countries have universal health care.

Mr.doomYes, we have the best health care in the world for conditions that are rare and very expensive. You don’t find many ordinary people coming, or even rich people with ordinary ailments (or they will no longer be rich). The AMA and Mafia have the same motto: Your money or your life, although more and more, AMA members are working for single payer. As my Canadian doctor (who practiced before and since the Douglas plan) said, “I can’t say I practice medicine any differently now that I no longer worry about being paid.”
