We last left off with the crew of the Enterprise calling Captain Kirk a sorry excuse for a man for leaving Mad Mysta Mindy at a movie theater. Kirk, owning up to his crude behavior finally agrees to finish watching the Warren Beatty Dick Tracy movie if she’ll stop her attack on his ship!

Captain, in Russia we used to play a game called Russian roulette, wery dangerous, like this woman!Captain, I must agree with Mr. Chekov, there’s no way to know what her plans are!What her plans are? Do you see what she’s wearing? Good God man, you’re half human, what in blazes to you think her plans are? You can’t only be a cold, Green blooded pointy eared machine! Bones, snap out of it! Mindy is affecting your thoughts and actions. Her attenna and attire are very powerful! Sorry Spock, I don’t know what happened. Captain, Doctor McCoy’s reaction is evidence that it would be too dangerous to beam her here. …..is it me? I’ve really enjoyed the story in general, but considering Dicks history of super clever and imaginative escapes, and the effort put into getting him into the situation he and his friends were in, this was a rather blah ending to it all…..as well as kind of an unrealistic one…..

It does seem to indicate Specs isn’t a killer.

Kiko’s entire day has been wasted.

Kiko has apparently gotten smart – Tracy no longer has him covered, but he’s not thinking of either trying to run or attempting to overpower Tracy to get the gun. Nice line of dialogue from Ivanov: “Come, sit in the shade with us.” :)

What was the point in making Tracy change clothes? Or is that to be revealed later?

My guess is Mendoza figured the victims would be positively identified. He was hoping to mislead the authorities as to the cause of death. At first glance murder would be ruled out, but if investigators were meticulous enough and noticed all the spent shell casings at the scene, Mendoza’s ruse would soon fall apart.
