Apparently nobody in Milford can talk without their elbows bent and their hands in front of them. Mimi has the same facial expression as Bonhomme the carnival snowman.
From yesterday. Yeah, Mop and tcar-1 the comments on Gil on the color strip haven’t worked recently for me either. But boy, does Mary Worth make up for it.
In all reality , " If you think thats funny Coach , let me tell you about the time I punched a guy in the family jewels and about pushing a guy down the stairs . My favorite story is about me giving a bully a 3 Stooges eye poke after I said Pick Two !"
“And that’s when the police showed up.” There’s a phrase they must prep football and basketball coaches for in their coaching 101 classes. (And evidently, rugby coaches too)
Snowman looks delighted, Gil seems bored, Mimi is laughing about it. Not a very tight ship they’re running in Milford. And speaking of tight, I was on a tight deadline so the last panel of today’s Mopped Up Thorp was shamelessly copied from last year’s strip. Eh, too bad.
…and they lived happily ever after: Point 1) Max isn’t threatened at all about losing his man card by being defended by K.Point 2) the police negotiator will make it all go away by telling the Central Rapscallions that he could charge them for assaulting Max the cider schlep-er and they’d be sure to lose their man cards if it got around Central City that a female high school student broke A’s jaw and intimidated B into submission before the PD even showed up.Point 3) Milford misses the B’ball playdowns and we can move on to spring training.Point 4) it will still take a month (24 more days of this $%^& before we get there.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3khTntOxX-k

How was it instinct? I know rugby’s a tough sport and all that, but do players routinely slug each other?

Compare Kenzie’s arms with the March 7 strip. It’s as if putting on gym clothes transforms her into a body-builder.

P1. I wonder Menzie or the the evil snowman is gonna punch Bad Spot Boy first.
Gil seems less than pleased in P2. You can tell by the missing GIL mug and his favorite trophy.
Mimi on the other hand, in P3 hasn’t looked this thrilled since the last time she was with Pedro.

Max is now both oddly aroused and fearful for his wellbeing … what to do, what to do?

SAG extra of the week award goes to the affable Snowman. Jerry Reed would be proud. Our star, Gilpa, looks Reaganesque in P2.

What was it that Maxwell did to get the bad guys angry with him? That was never quite clear to me.

Now Kenzie is wearing a cap with vertical stripes. Which suggests that not only did she assault the guy, she stole his headgear too.

Oddly, most of my stories also end with “And that’s when the police showed up.”
