It is disturbing that there are so many factions who are completely hung up on narrow minded ideologies. The country works best when compromise can happen. Class warfare drags us down.
Love it that Holden Awn whines that the cartoon is left-wing hate speech, and in the very next message his buddy grimmer lets loose with the very same right-wing bigoted hate speech that the Danziger cartoon mocked.
To give you an idea of where the Republican Party is right now, remember how the righties NEVER stopped trashing Bill Clinton for being a ‘Draft Dodger?’ Well, on the Howard Stern show some years ago, their great He-ro Donald Trump actually BRAGGED about dodging the draft. []http://www.greenvillegazette.com/p/watch-1997-trump-brags-about-dodging-draft-sleeping-around-was-my-vietnam-106879/[]The hypocrisy of the far-right knows no bounds
It has been my observation that the “low information voters” are the same that are told what to think from the likes of Fox News. Those that think Big Bill really is looking out for them. .The lack of “rational” thought that is going into picking a leader is really scary to to the rest of the world. And the media.. on both sides.. is more interested in ratings then presenting facts or providing guidance on a very complicated.. and important issue.
The left and right are not the same in this respect. The 2016 Democrat field has 2 civil contestants. The GOP has been a bigger side show than usual. For those complaining that it is an inaccurate portrayal – Trump has advanced his takeover of the Republican Party. He dominated the SC primary. He vanquished the dynasty that ruled the GOP establishment for decades as JEB drops his White House bid. He is the GOP’s national front-runner and this is what you want your party to be.
The problem is the GOP elephant has gone “rogue”, apparently on PCP, released the inmates from the asylum, and will definitely stomp and trample the populace if let loose by extremely low information conservatives, the right wingers. Three Looney Tunes characters are their “leaders”, and quite frankly, a review of the Constitution (the real one) and the DSM, should give folks real pause if considering any of them. And no, I’m not fond of Hilllary, and Bernie’s a tad old and repetitive, but they aren’t weighed down by the clinically diagnosable problems of Trump, Cruz, and Rubio. (Narcissism, out of control ego, and sociopathic behaviors, like “bomb ’em” and torture has been UNDER-done!)
@The Wolf In Your MidstCheney was just looking ahead into the future, and he KNEW that his heart would be far too weak to risk in combat! (If only he had also realized that his head was far too weak to risk the United States in unnecessary wars…….)
The Republican Party is now America’s largest hate groupLed by Donald Trump, the GOP has abandoned its traditional dogwhistles in favor of a more overt approach to racism.
Yep, ol’ Trump he done found his congregation at last, by gum maybe he’ll build a few of them thar things they calls hotels or such and we’ll spit out them windows and call each other “bitches” and be happier than pigs in a holler splashing ’round in the mud and stuff….
Explosive New Polls Show GOP Poised To Lose Senate Seats If They Block Obama SCOTUS NomineeBy Jason Easley on Mon, Feb 22nd, 2016 at 5:26 pmTwo new polls of Ohio and Pennsylvania revealed that voters are outraged over the Republican plan to block President Obama’s Supreme Court nominee. The anger is so strong that it could cost the GOP incumbent Senate seats in both states.
I was wondering why Mr. Danziger bothered with the superfluous “2016” designation in the cartoon; then realized that the specific bunch of faces belong to this time period, even if the general idea is diachronically valid.

Here come the low information right wing votersout to rebrand America into their image.

This is a shameful image. The fact that another person disagrees with me does not turn that person into a monster. The cartoon itself is hate speech.
grimmer about 8 years ago
Deal with it. I’d rather have a successful business tycoon than a lying witch or socialist whack job as POTUS.
