When I was little – 5 or 6 – I’d beg my mum for a piece of raw liver while she was cleaning it for supper. She said she had to turn her head away while I ate it, but I loved it.
A baby? I know he’s not talking, and he still crawls around in a nappy – but the lad’s at least 11 by now. And Sophie’s no spring chicken, either.
