Marigold: I think I may need a lighter ball. Phoebe: Yeah, don't hurt your neck.
I expected her to use magic to move the ball like everything else she moves about.
I wondered about this since bowling came up. She might have a “no magic to compete in tournaments” restriction. But then:
With telekinesis, she’d be unbeatable, since she could score a strike every time.Without telekinesis, her lack of hands makes it hopeless.
Of course, ultimately her magic can do whatever is funniest.
Her horn’s in there pretty deep for a finger hole.
Bad Idea…
To make it fair, telekinesis can do the ‘Heavy Lifting’ moving the bowling ball, but she still has to aim her throw by eye the old way. And no more English on the ball after release – you apply spin before the release, it gets to hook on it’s own.
And get a set of custom bowling shoes.
The ’corn abides.
She should set it in place with magic, then kick it with her hoof.
Called it!Or i would have if she wasn’t using a rental ball.
On the bright side, the possibility of going to a Halloween party as a Tootsy Pop now seems not unreasonable.
I hope her horn doesn’t break.
Candlepin balls are much lighter.
(To those who are not from New England, Candlepin is based on Tenpins, but differs in these ways:
1. The ball is much smaller and lighter.
2. The pins are shaped like this: () . They are the same top and bottom.
3. You get three balls per frame. 10 pins with one ball is a strike, 10 pins with two balls is a spare, and 10 pins with three balls is just 10.
4. Dead wood is not cleaned up during a frame, so you can clean up a difficult split by hitting a downed pin and making it into a whirling pinarang.
Practically anyone can score 50 or so in Candlepin, but no one yet has ever made 300 in a league game, so there’s always room for improvement.)
Why do I have the feeling that the ball is going to get stuck in her horn?
They have flat bottoms (and tops).
