To beviek: Although it was a delightful warming trend, I wouldn’t depend on spring just yet. It is still February and in spite of the warming trend, I am still chilled from the freezing temps of a week ago. Still we can be hopeful.AmandaPup

Classic parenting: I’m hungry, eat something. I’m tired, go to bed. I’m cold, put on a hat. Not like it works, but that what we tend to do.

In Texas temp was 78 and 79 for most of last week, my daffodils are all blooming and a lot of the fruit trees are trying to bud out. I just hope we don’t get a late freeze and mess up the peaches.

However I admit to enjoying a great deal of lovely bird song these last two days

This is so me and my husband – only my husband would be in shorts. We really should live in two separate houses.

We haven’t had a false spring yet this winter – unless you count today when it might reach 60F. But, it is supposed be colder tomorrow..My husband and son hate the cold.Any day that is above freezing and dry is good for me.

Nelson might consider going home. For a change. Maybe he could look for his dad, who hasn’t been seen in the strip for a few years.

Eat something…….. a lady at work in SoCal use to always come in wrapped up like it was Alaska. She grew up in Wisconson….. When she went on a diet(she really didn’t need it), she would be extra cold, It was just crazy.
