Gil follows up his question about what university True’s going to with a question about which university True’s going to. Tomorrow’s first panel will feature Gil telling True to quit stalling and tell him which university he’s going to. At least we got two hand close ups today so it’s not a total loss.

Well my predictions did not come true. That first panel is not quite the duplicate of P3 from Saturday, although it does repeat slightly. And obviously the school will not be UCLA. Can someone guess it today? Who has a cool mascot but is not a huge school? I was going to guess Stanford but there is no way in hell someone who would try to drive to Hawaii could get in there. Mich State? Or is that too big? I’m going with TCU and their Horned Frogs, since Milford has a fascination with frog crotches. And that school came up during eating quarterback camps.

And what’s in his hand? I thought it was a jersey at first, but I assume it’s a plastic bag with….a toy mascot inside? And the name of “Smart” on it, is that supposed to be the writers being ironic, ha!

Yep, given those parameters, TCU is a good bet … other contenders are Vanderbilt and Wake Forest

It has to be Stanford. Major conference, relatively small undergrad enrollment, beautiful campus, what most consider to be the most unusual mascot. Add in his football camp QB buddy committed to play at Oregon in the Pac-12 and that his dad wanted him to play on the west coast. He was the first student to know who “Boo” Radley’s nickname referred to. That fact alone would probably put him in the top percentile of Milford students.
