This must have been Teresa’s great grand daddy or something.

Although the late comedian, Foster Brooks was a distant cousin of mine, picking ones ancestors is a bother.And a lame one at that.

Lewis Carroll was said to much taken with the Lame Snatches and their frumious ways and used them as a model for his notorious bandersnatches.

And one day, all of this will have been erased by the hand of time and replaced with something unrecognizable.

What if the hubby took Teresa’s name?

Nowadays that same post card would cost $27.50 to send to the UK. Oh, wait, post cards are non-standard now, sorry, not acceptable.

And lo, though I was only a tiny nut in a big world, there now stands a tree. Where once I beheld only snatches of lame, now there are great swards covered in lame, and the squirrels and all creatures frolic and gambol among them.And there, in the shade of the lame tree, did the quick brown fox jump over the lazy dog.
