-I reached voting age in time to re-elect Ike…I liked Ike…but 2016’s crowd of candidates is just one more sign of the deterioration of America, in my lifetime! IMO.-Now crafty Rubio is angling for a “brokered” convention opportunity to give the choice of GOP Nominee to the Establishment that has a non-stop record of betraying GOP voters.-Supporting Trump is the only alternative to avoid the usual triumph of Big Donors and the Elite Snobs who think they “own” the Party and are always doormats for the Dems in the governing part, which is responsible for the Mess We’re In!
Ben Carson is still in. I can think of only two: he can more easily raise money to pay off his campaign debts (while incurring more of course) while continuing to run (even as Trump’s VP he says), or ego. He is after all black in a party which not known for accepting anyone other than white males.
@OldCoal…I don’t believe that for a nanosecond.-It is not a “bad field” IMO, it is just too many candidates running in the same election.-Any GOP candidate would have been better than Obama and definitely better than retread Clinton or Socialist Sanders, IMO.-(maybe a GOP “RINO” might pine for Obama; that is the main problem in the party….too many “Rino” members.)-And if Trump or Cruz becomes 2016 president, Carly would be an excellent Sec. of Treasury; Christie an excellent AG that believes in enforcing US laws; Dr. Ben Carson would be excellent for overseeing healthcare and designing a better system of free enterprise for a replacement for the Obamacare which was the Democratic first step toward single payer system of government only….no private insurance, no private hospitals & providers, no private independent Medical Doctors & medical personnel. That was the agenda of Obama, Hillary and the Democratic Party.
