He was arrested – but not for raising the price of the drug. He is accused of illegally taking stock from a biotech firm and using it to pay off unrelated business debts. You can gouge the consumer all you want, but when you start playing with the big boys, you have to watch whose toes you step on. He was also charges with making sham consulting agreements and secret payoffs using complicated shell games and shuttered hedges funds.
