I think this set of images would be particularly interesting to Stel, but I cannot get anything to post. Protected, perhaps? Anyway it might be something for you to play with…
Bobarion… first step is refreshing the page to see whether they load that time.
If not, another trick is to right-click and see whether you can view the image on a different page. How you do that depends on what browser you use.Firefox is best… just choose “view image”. It will navigate away… I’m waiting for an update that lets you select “open in a new window” like other commends….
but you can come right back with the back arrow…and if the image did open, it will now be visible here, too.
If you use Chrome or IE just say so and I’ll help….
Meanwhile…. Dennis…you’re trying to use an image link to display a whole web page.An image link will display a single picture. You use the URL of just that image, alone on a page, with no text or other background.
To link to a page, use text to click onThere won’t be a picture showing, just your text.Yes, there’s a way to use a single picture instead… but first things first.Baby steps, baby steps.
Bev… I never knew Creature From the Black Lagoon was nature programming!Had I known it was real, I’d have been more afraid of water all my life.
I though Reggie was merely afraid of those lions he just saw in the veld.
He’d be hiding in the closet, after watching them tear up that antelope, if he weren’t a little bit comforted by the fact that they’re only 6 inches tall and live in that sturdy glass box.
Do you reckon that to Reggie, “nature programming” is like “reality TV”? For all we know that program may be to him like watching the Kardashians or Honey Boo Boo is to me.
I remember hiding behind my Mama’s chair while she watched an old Boris Karloff horror movie. I may have been 5 or 6 at the time. I still can’t watch horror flicks. I want to be entertained not frightened. I ride roller coasters for fright thrills.
At the dentist office, they had an area for children with toys and a tv. The tv had a nature video on where the lion was mauling and eating some poor animal and there were a couple of sex scenes too. Fortunately, there were no children there when I was there.
Susan,I realized after I went to bed that the picture actually was a website. But Bev got the picture I wanted to post to show up as a picture (on ten cats).
Just visited a friend with two dogs. One watched T.V. with us, the other didn’t seem to notice or wasn’t interested. But then, it wasn’t the animal channel.
