BTW: one of the best kids I ever knew was killed in Iraq, on HER second tour as a medic. She had specifically asked to not be kept in “the rear” as SHE wanted to be out in the field where she could do the most to help “her” guys. IED took out her “bomb resistant” vehicle, not resistant enough by far.
