I think this is a bit of back story, about how RR senior found his son. Love Marcy’s last lines (Yep that’s him. Great guy!) and her facial expression. Shows how time goes on and can change things greatly!
Reminds me of a quote in Latin class way (WAY) back. Something about times changing and we are changing with them.

This is Ray’s estranged father, who I introduced two weeks ago. My colorist has made his hair brown instead of white, which has thrown off some readers. It’s him. Apologies for any confusion!
