Most of those candidates talk as if they have driven screws into romex a few times already.

I may not be gifted with tools, but I know what kind of wrench is best for pounding in a screw.

You ask me, I think the Republican primary is a bunch of nuts.

A few nuts (without bolts) would have been appropriate too.

In 2012 the Republican party leaders regrouped and made new rules to head off a prolonged and divisive nomination fight to make certain the Republican standard-bearer is not pulled too far to the right before Election Day. At this point it looks as if they won’t have a presumptive nominee until late sprint or even by the convention.

Cruz should have been a Robertson, (uniquely Canadian eh?)

Don’t worry Republicans – the GOP insiders will pick one of these screws for you in a brokered convention.

This is why cannons get loose .. to many screws fall out.

Just a note: knockoff wheels require thread going both ways, either left of right side; if you don’t use both, the wheels fall off. It is often forgotten that without checks and balances, and cooperation for the good of everyone, the wheels also fall off a Republic. When either side becomes too radical and refuses to accept that, big trouble. Of course, as with Iraq, if one side fills the pool with lies, and convinces both sides to go for a swim, thousands drown.
