Very similar to a recurring nightmare I’ve had many times in which I forget to attend a class or several classes then remember it/them about midway through the term and realize I am toast.
I’ve had the same dream only without my heart exploding at the end.
That can indicate you stopped breathing during the night, and your brain had to scare you awake to keep you alive.
I’ve been out of college for years and still have dreams that I forgot a class until the final exam.
