I remember a strip that was identical to this in premise that Kevin did probably 10 or so years ago.

Actually Jo, it is quite the opposite, The higher the persons IQ and the greater their ability to pay attention the easier it is to hypnotize them (I am speaking from experience here BTW, having worked as a clinical hypnotherapist back in the 1990s)
