The demographics of society are changing and previous ethnic and racial proportionality will be different in future generations and this is a cause of concern to some who FEAR they will lose something in the process. The fastest growing religious affiliation in the US is none and the fastest growing political affiliation is independent/unaffiliated, which further exacerbates the longing for the old order. Trump merely plays into these FEARS with fabulous rather than practical solutions. I do not see Trump as a thoughtful conservative, but rather, as an apolitical, amoral opportunist.

When the “rightist of the right” says you’re too far “right”, as in totally nuts, it does say something.

“At least Trump has experience in the real world..”You understand that reality shows have nothing to do with reality, don’t you? Perhaps not.Obama had a fair amount of experience in government before 2008. Obama laid out his goals quite clearly: Healthcare Reform, wind down our costly occupation of Iraq, roll back the worst of the Bush tax cuts. He’s made good on all those things, while managing to prevent a repeat of the Herbert Hoover experience. No, he never had a company go bankrupt nor did he have experience in liquidating companies or causing thousands of workers to be outsourced or laid off.Trump’s business resume is not confidence inspiring. He has no track record of understanding how government functions & his statements about policy range from vague to outlandish. He’s not a serious candidate, but the GOP is no longer a serious party.

“where did I say anything about reality shows being reality?”You said, “At least Trump has experience in the real world.”, in contrast to Obama being (in your mind) inexperienced. It’s a ridiculous claim. I can see the humor is lot on you, lol.If Trump somehow wins, it’s going to put the GOP in the spot where it was post Herbert Hoover. The country can survive Trump, just as it survived Hoover. At this point, President Sanders looks like the Republican’s best hope of maintaining relevance on the national level.

“Govt isn’t business and never should be.” -How true! Just look at the current crisis in Flint, Michigan for a great example.

@Osgood KonklinYou are wrong, the statement you make is myth created by the left. It was created to full people like you who take everything without giving it a second look. Hitler considered and called himself a socialist and he got into power by spreading the same rhetoric used by the socialists in the past and present. Of course in reality he was nothing more than a bully and a murderer, like Stalin, Mao, Fidel, etc.

Nos NevetsHe is not a populist either (except as the corporate media defines it). Populism is the easiest to define of all political movements; take the Cleburne and Ocala Demands of the Farmers National Alliance and the Omaha Platform of the Peoples Party, and update it (equal rights for women instead of votes for women, direct election of president instead of direct election of senators, etc.) and you basically have it.

" I think the Left did those things by taking what conservative said out of context to make issues out of non-issues so they could form groups of victims…."So there are no victims in Flint, Michigan? Denying people the same rights you take for granted is the Left “forming groups of victims”?When the right wing “entertainers” talk about “those people, who aren’t like you & want you to pay for free stuff”, no one thinks they’re talking about poor whites in the South, who are in fact the biggest recipients of Federal aid. When they talk about “religious fanatics who want to impose their religion on this nation”, they aren’t talking about evangelicals.

“You’re comparing real victims with groups of people that Democrats have dishonestly deceived into believing they are victims.”Such as?

“You’ve read things into my post that I didn’t say and arguing against your misperception.”Like I said, it was a joke… a play on the word “real” that went over your head. At the end of the day, your claim about Trump having any kind of “real world” experience that Obama (let alone Clinton) lacks is silly & absurd. If you bothered reading my posts, you’d have noticed that I pointed out how Trump’s actual business resume is sketchy at best. He was a terrible developer, but achieved great success as a reality show star. Most of his wealth comes from licensing his name to people who actually know how to build things without filing for bankruptcy.I hear some of the Kardashians are Republican. Don’t be surprised if one of them runs in 4 or 8 years.
