We now have two teasers – one with Bribery and now with Mini Moon Maid. I am wondering whether Honeymoon is going to appear in the Bribery story. I am thinking that Bribery will be more interested in Mini Moon Maid than in Mysta now that he knew what Honeymoon is capable of doing. He got first hand experience of MMM’s powers, even if it was still underdeveloped.

It is always a pleasure to see Honeymoon. She is a wonderful character, one of the many key developments that makes the strip such a pleasure to follow. Even as things grow dicey for Specs and Spicy, a calm domestic scene reminds us that not all is crime and punishment. Junior’s “little remote” is growing up. Her mother a tragic victim of criminal violence, Imoto-Chan has her Onee-San to lean on, especially when Junior is stretched thin with work and Baby Trey. Young and daily growing, Honeymoon can handle herself rather well. I loved her cool under pressure when dealing with the bullies.

I fully remember being her age, cooterin’ around after school, and in summer. Fightin’ off them boychilds, as they chased me around the hollars. Hair pullin’, and frogs down shirts. Telling my old uncle “Why yew couldn’t hit a bull in the ass, uncle gunk!” when he took me out target practicing. Of course I could put out the bull’s eye at 300 yards but that’s another lie-tale (giggles)
Not to worry, Honey! You’ll be sparking interest in the boys very soon.

Maybe, following a recent ‘look up’ of, Locher’s work to get a deeper “feel” (or perspective) for drawing DL’s son ‘John’ who’s ‘likeness’ appeared back in those days as Junior Tracy ? And who Joe would need to ‘craft’ here - recently (?)For a spot of “contrast” see how ‘Big’ Pat Patton’s HAND ‘appeared’ back then with John . . .

No harm intended, a ‘light hearted’ touch of fun . . . just ‘speculating’ !
But behind this (more seriously) . . . there have been two robberies, at a Bank (record haul) and upper class residence, followed by a complaint of ‘missing’ research glasses - no certainty, but a growing speculation - it’s a theft ?
All have one ASPECT in common *- there is NO HARD EVIDENCE, of - a Who ? or a Where ?‘Investigations’ run from near Zero in 2 - to minimal in the residential robbery to judge from the script !
Yet, Tracy head of the MCU together with a Top KBG man Ivanov are both “flying” to Cuba, to arrest for questioning a man “SAID” (by a street informant) to have the Goggles responsible for everything ?Not much in the basket ! ? ?
But, I guess the Writer can make it All “Happen” - despite No evidence, No idea, what their man even ‘looks like’ ! – … as I’ve already implied, it’s a ‘set up’, with all the characteristics of a Wild Goose Chase
But I’m told Tracy has a ‘secret weapon’, a *Dr. Figment Froid
on the team and he’s armed with his “Thought Machine”.! ! !
The story is developing like that of a choice novel, with changes of place, time, character(s), and action as it builds up and gradually (so I expect) ties threads together as the plot unfolds. While the Three Amigos round up the hapless Canyon brothers and get set to depart for Cuba and the search for Spicy and Specs, on the home front all seems calm for Junior and Honeymoon (but probably isn’t). I expect the unexpected….
