    We could get into the tetragrammaton, with vowels for the word “adoni” added to it later, and the German “J” being used (which is pronounced like “Y”) … and it’s a mess..OR, we could just call him George Burns.

    the jews have various names for god, like my king my lord etc. the name meaning i am that i am that has at times been translated to be said as yahweh or jehovah is so holy it can’t be said as written and was only spoken by the high priest at the holy temple in jerusalem on once during high holy days. lacking the temple, and any more high priests, nobody gets to say it. what we jews say during prayer when we get to that word sounds nothing like what is written there.
