when I was in HS in 1977, a blizzard blew in AFTER school had started for the day. I was NOT one of the bus students as I lived just a mile away, so I had to walk home. I made it about two blocks to my aunt’s house and stayed there.

The power is out.

I don’t get it – she somehow knew the power would be going out, or is there some other bad news we’ve yet to hear?
