that unnecessary “more” in the last line rather ruins the scansion!

I dated a gal in college who complained about getting picked on by a guy. After we broke up she started dating… the same guy. Now they’re married with three kids.
Roses are red.Bacon is also red.Poems are hard.Bacon.
It just doesn’t sound as smooth with the “more” in there.
stupid reruns, or me rereading and forgetting i read it before.
