Yeah, I know. It’s almost as if, when he got elected, one of the major parties decided that doing the work of the American people was less important than blocking everything in order to advance their own interests. But nobody would be so disloyal and self-serving, so it can’t be that.

Well all you need to do is go back to when G W Bush was president and look at the demNOcratic congress he had. So go get some Windex and clean your glass house. But I expect you felt that was just being the loyal opposition then.

“….Or maybe working against Obama is in the best interest of America.” .Yeah maybe, like repealing the ACA and just letting the sick and uninsured die.

Inborn common sense should inform every “normal” thinking person that repealing Obamacare (a pro-socialist system takeover of private healthcare, said to be 1/7th of the total US Economy) would NOT equal “letting the sick and uninsured die.”!-Unless the Liberals have eliminated teaching “compassion” for sick people in med schools, like they eliminated the teaching of the Universe’s Creator, the doctors and hospitals in America would not refuse treatments.-And the GOP congress, if reelected, would design a much better system, hopefully restoring the rights of the patients, doctors and medical facilities, using a liberated health insurance industry supervised again by state governments.

“……They are still dying because they can’t find doctors to take the insurance …..”.I’m not sure that’s the whole story, but the ACA was a good start, but not the finish.

“Then there are the cuts to Medicare and the tripleing of costs for supplemental insurance mand the increase in cost for part D and the co-pays that amount to paying for insurance that pays for nothing.”Medicare is a socialist shell game that fooled lazy people into thinking government would take care of them. If you failed to make arrangements for anything better, it’s your own fault.I’m sick & tired of other peoples’ hands in my pockets.

As Lincoln warned – America’s divides could tear us apart. Dreams of a new bipartisan era have given way to constant confrontations with a Congress that is now completely controlled by Republicans, many of whom are on a mission to dismantle much of Obama’s agenda. He set his sights very high – but our system is set up to resist sharp changes of political direction. When we elected Obama we thought Washington politics did not have to be so bitter or so divided. Now Washington is more divided and poisoned politically than ever. republicans may have rejected compromise, but Obama’s critics say his own partisan reflex is to blame. This isn’t a liberal America, or a conservative America, a black America or a white America. This is a United States of America – the only dis-union is the in the eye of the beholder.

“So, unless you want to pay cash out of pocket for all your medical expenses, you have no options for anything better.”You’re catching on. Any doctor taking Medicare patients at this point is not a doctor you want anything to do with.

Inauguration day , the GOP met at a steakhouse to discuss how to limit Obama to one ter. Confirmed by Republican strategist Frank Luntz.Day after 2010 election. McConnell stated the GOP’s number 1 priority was to limit Obama to one term. During the election they’d promised that JOBS would be their number 1 priority.Debt ceiling was previously raised for every other president; GOP shuts down government costing $24 BILLION dollars and a hit to the US credit rating. Many Republicans that were concerned about global warming and healthcare reform now reversed just because they can’t back ANYTHING from Obama. -US sailors stray into Iranian waters, are held for 16 hours and then sent home. Republicans rail about how much tougher they would be than Obama, including Trump’s threats on Twitter AFTER release.-US plane does emergency landing on China’s Hainan Island after crashing with Chinese plane that had been following. Plane and crew are held for 16 days until Bush writes an apology to the Chinese.US had to pay China compensation for food and lodging for US crew. Only comment from Repubs was Tom Delay calling it “communist piracy”.

“That has to be the most blatantly idiotic thing I’ve heard, which fits with the cartoonist idiocies as well. The doctors winning the highest awards almost universally take medicare, in every state.”How much do you want to bet that Warren Buffet’s doctors don’t take Medicare? Your typical Medicare doctor would suggest that an 81 year old man with prostate cancer be left to die from it.
