The only thing Obama has accomplished is the one thing he ever told the truth about. He said that he would fundamentally transform this nation, and he did. America is going to he11 in a handbasket thanks to him.

It certainly represents Ramirez’s “accomplishments”.

I’m surprised Clint isn’t talking to it. But it is not surprising that Mr. Ramirez being a good conservative is unable to understand this as a tribute to the fallen from gun violence, like those in Newtown.

It also represents the accomplishments of the entire Congress. What a wonderful government we have. They just collect their salaries and kickbacks. They spend most of their time blocking something or back in their districts living well.

And of course, when president Obama took over the presidency, his predescessor had left the American economy in such a great shape. To say nothing of just how great a direction that economy was headed in? Do any of our illustrious ultra conservatives even remember just where we were headed, as continuously talked about by most economists at that time? And then consider all of the “help” he got from (and continues to get) from the Republicans in Congress!

Heck, even consider the tens of thousands of Americans that were dying of the lack of affordable health care, that now at least stand a chnce of a healthy future? Naw, I guess that would be far too much of a consideration by our president Obama hating ultra conservatives here!!!

Even for you. Michael, this is a new low. It is totally, and irrefutably obvious that you have only one thought in your mind, and one thought only: Attack the current president via lie, distortion, innuendo or any means. You are a perfect example of one who abuses his constitutional First Amendment right to freedom of speech, expression.

Another misguided comment from Ramirez which insults the memories of those innocent victims of gun violence.

The elites throw out the killings at Sandy Hook, Aurora, Washington Naval Yard, and others and point to the guns, saying if we got rid of the guns this would not have happened. What they fail to say is if we were to reopen the Mental Hospitals and properly commit the insane, a lot of these shooting would not have occurred. Another fact amid all the shootings that gets ignored is that the violent crime rates have be dropping for decades, while legal gun ownership has be rising.

What’s wrong with his statement?

Tell me again how Ramirez and Republicans/Fox “news” viewers don’t hate Obama — just his policies.

Ramirez is one of the best cartoonists on gocomics.com IMO.-The Empty Seat could also be the number of foreign leaders who respect this American president, after 7 years of O’s “leadership”….or it could represent the Americans killed by ISIS and other Jihadi organizations….or it might symbolized the American Holocaust begun in January 1973 on the say-so of 7 misguided USSC Justices. -I miss all of those who should be here but were removed b\y evil humans.

That empty seat was supposed to represent a call for gun control. I would say this toon is pretty accurate – the President has not done enough to get gun violence under control. Not that any of the other branches has.

Ramirez is a talented artist, too bad it’s wasted on politics that belongs in a straightjacket.

What a great opportunity to take a thoughtful response to gun violence and make a partisan non-point about a president who has many accomplishments. I guess Ramirez is pretty clear on how he feels about victims of gun violence – just the butt of a badly told joke.

Mike, you would have had to draw an entire empty chamber to represent promises made, promises kept and pro-American/pro-LEO/pro-military comments.

Some people just wont admit that Obamma achieved anything, and that their favorite Republican Congressman are the best. I’ve given up even tryhing to convince them otherwise. Deaf ears equal a deaf mind in this case. Case in point -blaming the President for the gun massacre by an american citizen who was an ISIS idolator.

Empty chair. Hmm, that reminds me of the 2012 Republican convention.

If the cartoonist thinks Obama has not accomplished anything, then it’s time he paid attention or gave up cartooning.- Jump-started the economy in the middle of the Recession – Bush handed him.- Got Iran to reduce its nuclear program to something safer… and now the diplomatic avenues with Iran are improving.- Has finally begun to improve relations with Cuba.- the only President who managed to get a semblance of Health care, even if it isn’t perfect. Nevertheless millions more are now covered who weren’t before.

I could go on – but why bother? Ramirez is so obviously of bad faith that I won’t waste more time on him.
