Conservatives say the tears are fake because they can’t conceive of why anyone would care about shooting victims.

Right, they just want that gun tucked under their pillow at night.

Emotion? Over a bunch of kids they didn’t even know? Preposterous!

Obama’s seen the photos. They’re real to him.

These are strange times: a president impeached for an “improper relationship” that I certainly would have done and a president mocked – even disbelieved – for weeping over dead children that I also weep over. Strange times.

Staged tears? Prove it .

No tears for Benghazi victims, no tears for James Foley, no tears for the Christians who are being exterminated in the middle east, no tears for the women & girls being stoned after being raped, no tears for the gays being thrown off roofs…….

and guess who gets mocked for their tears? It’s not the guy making money off of blocking legislation that would save children’s lives.

Total number of people whose Second Amendment rights were denied by background checks at gun shops: so far, zero. In the future, zero. Total number whose Second Amendment rights would be denied if background checks were instituted for gun shows: Also zero.

Unlike the Bush family (remember the incident when a scanner at a supermarket was an unkown?) Obama was raised in Indonesia, Hawaii, and on the streets of Chicago as an “organizer” and knew well the class of people victimized by gun violence, it was real to him, as were the tears.

Boehner was crying if his Tee time got set back by ten minutes!

I wonder how many kids died compared to how many dollars were given by the NRA. How much is it worth to the legislatures to continue to let this happen?

Winston Churchill cried freely and often…and was unabashed about it. “I’m a blubberer.”But let Obama cry and it’s a sign of weakness to the Tea-Party lemmings.
