DrCanuck - are you referring to “word salad,” characteristic of some types of schizophrenia? I saw someone refer to her recent tweets that way.
It could also be related to some forms of dyslexia, which George W. was thought to have. (Note that Barbara Bush decided to work with the learning disabled… )
Let me understand this correctly; I mean, let me see this in the Big Picture; I mean, let me get a visual so it makes perfect sense: (1) this was a lady who came from the people, who represented them as their Governor from the great state of Alaska
(2) this lady represents Conservatism and family values and the fundamentalist, evangelical point-of-view as expressed by the G.O.P. and its philosophy and political platform
(3)this lady ran for Vice-President and was the G.O.P.’s choice over all other candidates to do so, and was a heart-beat away from the Presidency had she succeeded in doing so.
(4) She is now running, apparently, for President in 2012 and striving to win the G.O.P.’s nomination to do so, and should she win she will have to be a woman President in a competitive ’ man’s world ’ and have to out-think and out-strategize other world leaders and also work closely and cooperate with them like Margaret Thatcher did as Great Britain’s Prime Minister.
(5) Are you kidding ? ? ? She is the author of 2 books of twaddle and who really takes her seriously other than she is attractive-looking and dresses well ? ? ?
“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
H L Mencken
Sadly, George The Lesser already adorned it. Now we’re trying to dig ourselves out of the hole he left behind.
Rico…rabbit: want to watch a scarry movie that would epitomize Ms. Palin’s presidency (God forbid!)? Watch “Being There” with Peter Sellers. Dates from the 1980’s or so. She’d fit into the title role that Sellers played. Palin would be might scarry running the country.

I really like the John McCain one, but the best one is “Get You To A Nunnery!”

I love you Sarah Palin. You’re so cute.
Not Gracie Allen cute, or smart.
but wack cute.
And never understand anything you say,
which only adds to the mystery…
And allure.
I look beyond that to your inner soul…
which sparkles like diamonds in diseased
and putrefying flesh.

Politics look more and more like entertainment; What you think and mean doesn’t matter much, as long as you say it in an entertaining way.
